WE'VE GOT SPIRIT
The Rio Tinto Alcan Dragon Boat Festival was recently awarded the Spirit of Vancouver Special Event Award for "Celebrating Metro Vancouver's growing cultural diversity and promoting racial harmony among Canadians for 20 years and for demonstrating the true spirit of Vancouver".

Our thanks to the Vancouver Board of Trade for this honour which we share with our sponsors, paddlers, visitors and staff.
