Marketplace is the exhibitor component of the Rio Tinto Alcan Dragon Boat Festival.
We invite expressions of interest from exhibitors who wish to promote their products and services to an influential market of 90,000 festival attendees and over 180 dragon boat teams during the two-day festival.

 The Canada's Stuck on BAND-AID® Perfect Fit Tour focuses on activating against the Band-Aid jingle known and recognized by many Canadians. The Perfect Fit tour team will give Canadians the opportunity to record a video with their family and friends and sing the famous jingle in our mobile recording studio at selected events across the nation. At the event the Band-Aid team will be distributing product samples and coupons as well as providing branded tattoos for children to take away post the video experience. Participants will be sent an email with a link to view their video on line allowing them to share their experience with friends and family. Participants who record a video will also be automatically entered into a contest for a chance to win $8000 in travel.

Merlin CD2 paddle is our most popular paddle. It is light, stiff and durable with a nice balance achieved through reduced blade weight.
The CD2 has a carbon blade that makes the paddle very stiff, which is great for getting that positive reaction at the start of the stroke.
The CD2 is carefully balanced to avoid having the tip too heavy. A light paddle with a heavy tip is a very bad combination
Merlin TD2 paddle is a great paddle for competition paddlers looking for a paddle that is easy to control, yet has most of the benefits of our all carbon CD2.
As with all Merlin paddles the shaft is the primary strength member and extends most of the length of the blade. This enables a smooth flex for the shaft and solves the perennial problem of how to join a shaft and blade when made separately.
The TD2 has a glass fibre blade that gives the paddle flex in the last 50mm of the blade. This softens the start of the stoke allowing the paddler more time to get set. The tip springs back at the end of the stroke which helps pull the paddle from the water.
To avoid the problem of edge splitting, the blade materials are wrapped around the foam cores prior to moulding which creates a very durable edge.
