Paddle for Kids for the BC Children’s Hospital

Whether a beginner, or experienced dragon boater, plan to join us for a day of fun in the sun on Saturday, September 11, 2010!

Originally developed by BC Hydro volunteer organizers Paddle for Kids is now a signature event of the BC Children’s Hospital Energy Division and a fun opportunity for the dragon boat community to give back!

2009 Event Recap

The 11th annual Paddle for Kids dragon boat event raised an impressive $94,000. Over 650 paddlers, volunteers and spectators joined together for a day filled with fun and excitement.

Top fundraiser, TD Lightning, led the way and alongside teams from the Energy Industry and the dragon boat community to bring the event’s ten year cumulative total to over $500,000 for child health in BC.
