I further understand that by signing this agreement, I give my permission to the Society to contact any references provided by me and to undertake a criminal records check (if necessary for specific departments, to which I will be notified ahead of time) which will be provided free of charge. I understand that any information provided by me on the Volunteer Application Form will be used by the Society to determine my suitability as a volunteer and for no other purpose than that of conducting the Dragon Boat Festival Event and that any information received by the Society as a result of the reference and criminal records checks will not be provided to any third party. All the information provided in the Volunteer Application Form is true and complete to the best of my knowledge.
