Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival unveils 2019 headliner concert lineup

K-OS, Yukon Blonde, Jill Barber, and more hit the 102.7 THE PEAK Main Stage during three days of free music concerts and North America’s best dragon boat racing

Dragon Boat BC is proud to welcome K-OS, Yukon Blonde, Jill Barber, plus Little Destroyer, Buckman Coe, Schwey, Tourist Company, and Alexandria Maillot to the 102.7 THE PEAK Main Stage presented by Creative BC from June 21-23 in False Creek in Vancouver. Featuring musicians that call BC home, the Festival continues to bridge cultures through sport and cultural events.

The revamped music lineup is funded through Creative BC and the Province of British Columbia’s Amplify BC program. Through Amplify BC, the Province is investing in BC artists’ career development, live music events, support for BC’s music companies, and development of the music industry. The fund also attracts visitors to and helps grow BC tourism, while supporting related creative industries and small business development.

Support for the Main Stage was also provided by Concord Pacific, Peak Technologies, the Government of Canada, British Columbia Arts Council, and 102.7 THE PEAK.

Continuing a legacy 31 years in the making

The Festival was founded in 1989 as a legacy of Expo 86, and draws over 6,000 racers from around the world to Vancouver. The Festival’s cultural program highlights the sport’s traditional roots and Vancouver’s local culture in an effort to build intercultural harmony.

Concord Pacific has also been a vital partner since 1989 in building community through unique events that promote the region’s local cultural landscape, and is helping make the event accessible to all through investing in the Festival’s accessibility and youth racing programs.
