Refund requests accepted until May 31, and provided: to original method of payment or cheque minus 25% administration fee, or full credit valid until September 30 of the following year. No refunds/credits given after May 31. Transfers to a different team, or divisional or name changes are only allowed until each race registration deadline subject to capacity. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and subject to applicable taxes. In the event of full event cancellation due to smoke, heat, or public health emergencies, race fees will be: fully refunded or carried forward for future use on a Dragon Boat BC gift card.

PLEASE NOTE: The event site will be at Concord Pacific Place, and the docks will be on the south shore of False Creek outside Creekside Community Centre.

Team Tents, Marshalling, and Medals

  • Please limit your team tents to a maximum of two 10X10 pop up tents, and limit overflow.
  • Teams will be assigned spots in a secure Racer Village area.
  • Marshalling and pre-marshalling in effect. Please budget time accordingly.
  • Medals: Gold, silver, bronze presented 30 minutes after each final from the medal podium.

On Site Amenities

  • Race Registrar: in Plaza by Creekside Community Centre
  • Washrooms: located inside Creekside Community Centre, and across event site
  • Water: fountain inside Creekside Community Centre and across event site
  • First Aid: First Aid attendant near Race Registrar at top of dock ramp. AED and first aid kits on docks and inside Creekside Community Centre
  • Food Trucks: Concord Pacific Place
  • Music and Family Activities: Watch for more info on the event’s lineup of programming- going from day to night, and the return of the TD Main Stage!
  • Vendors: Concord Pacific Place
  • Results Board: By Race Registrar and by Racer Village
  • Team Photo Wall: By Racer Village and Medal Podium. Visit the team photo wall after your last race, regardless of if you win a medal to capture the day’s memories!

Event Road Detours and Adjustments

Bike slow down zones will be in effect around Concord Pacific Place and Marshalling. A lane of parking on Pacific Boulevard will be temporarily converted into loading zone only for the race day. Additional security measures will be provided around the site along the seawall and Carrall Street and on-water. The closures and detours will be supported by VPD officers on site through the day.

  • No Parking Zones: Pacific Boulevard from Griffiths Way to Carrall Street.
  • Street Closures: Carall Street from Pacific Boulevard southbound.
  • Bike Lane Slow Down Zones: Seawall from Plaza of Nations to Concord Community Park
  • Racer Drop Off: Pacific Boulevard from Griffiths Way to Carrall Street (strict 2 minute drop off only)
  • Parking: Pay parking lots available by Rogers Arena. Racers will be provided 1 parking pass per team for the marked parking lots.

Community Programming: TD Main Stage, Community Pavilions, Roaming Entertainment, and More

This is Vancouver. This is our heart beat. Enjoy top tier local talent, cultural programming, and surprises all day and night long. From headliner music concerts on the TD Main Stage, to hands-on arts and crafts for all ages alongside artisan demonstrations in our community pavilions, or moments of delight across our site, we’re hard at work creating a unique experience that puts our community front and centre. All programming is free. Dragon Boat BC’s cultural programs are presented with the support of the BC Arts Council and Government of British Columbia. 2026 programming will be announced in Summer 2026.
